Dear Feet,

When I think of how you have been there for me, I think of the song by Josh Groban, “You Raise Me Up”

 

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong when I am on [my feet];
You raise me up to more than I can be.

Dear Feet…

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;

Without you, I merely fall.

I cannot stand,

I cannot stand at all.

You raise me up, so I can climb the rough terrain

You raise me up, so I can endure the hills and valleys.

You raise me up, so I can climb another hill another day…

You raise me up to walk on stormy seas;

You raise me up, to encounter the storms

To walk upon those stormy seas

To miraculously walk on the water

to my destiny…

I am strong when I am on [my feet];

When I need to stand

you are always there for me

I feel powerful

in my weak knees
